Wow! That was Intense!
In Eureka Springs we were pretty lucky over the weekend. Though Ike blasted us with intense wind and rain and killed power to most of the town,we did survive it as far as we know. Trees were downed all over the whole area. Power lines were on the ground all around town. Power still has not been restored in many areas. In town, the power company did a fantastic job of getting the lines back up.
It will take several months, if not years, to recover from this storm system. There are many places in Arkansas that have no power. Our thoughts and heart go out to everyone who was affected by Ike.
